    The idea in the design of these earrings is to expose as much of the stone as possible so that the color stands out in them. That's why I chose to inlay the stones with the spikes facing down. The combination of the yellow gold with the purple stones is very flattering and the diamonds add shine and also bring light into the jewelry.
